Vedic Astrology: The Ancient Science of Cosmic Wisdom

Vedic Astrology, also known as Jyotish or Indian Astrology, is an ancient and profound system of astrology that originated in the Indian subcontinent thousands of years ago. Rooted in the Vedas, the oldest sacred texts of Hinduism, Vedic Astrology is a spiritual science that seeks to understand the influence of celestial bodies on human life and the natural world.

At its core, Vedic Astrology involves the detailed analysis of an individual's birth chart (Kundli), which is a map of the sky at the exact time and place of their birth. This chart is divided into twelve houses, each representing different aspects of life such as personality, wealth, family, health, and relationships. The positions of the nine planets (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu) in these houses at the time of birth are used to make predictions and offer insights.
