Janmashtami is a two-day festival devoted to Lord Krishna (Gopal) when happiness and joy enter every Hindu household. This auspicious event holds great significance for every Krishna Bhakt. Janmashtami is celebrated as the day when Lord Krishna was born during Rohini Nakshatra, and since then it holds the most significance of all. So, every year, Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated in the month of Bhadrapada during Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha. This year, 2023, Janmashtami will be celebrated on September 6 and 7; however, the timings are different.
